Our Mission is to respond to the needs and concerns of economically vulnerable women and their children. We appreciate your support as together we continue to empower and educate mothers and their children.

We offer a service enriched housing and education program for single mothers with young children who are experiencing homelessness and an outreach education program for other women from the community.

The service enriched housing program seeks to create an environment where single mothers with young children who are experiencing homelessness, can develop self-confidence, excel academically and feel safe and secure, living in stable and healthy surroundings. We provide direct services to each family, which includes housing, case management, parenting, counseling, mentoring, education services, budgeting and independent living skills training.

The program also incorporates Children’s Services. We provide afterschool enrichment activities, child specific play zones, family birthdays, holiday celebrations, field trips and subsidized summer programs. The afterschool activities include an academic component to help raise the children's reading levels, develop their problem-solving skills and cultivate the joy of academic success.

The Outreach Education Program extends valuable educational support services to women outside of the housing program, to further their independence by increasing their ability to speak English and earn a GED. We work to help women with limited education raise their education levels, allowing them access to better jobs or higher education.
