If nothing else, this pandemic year has shown how important it is to have a centrally-located, inviting commons/green space where people can safely meet and relax. At the same time, it has also been a challenge to maintain the park without our summer events, which have always been our main source of operating funds.

Plans for 2021 include adapting to allow more art and learning events, possible neighborhood produce-sharing, and partnering with community groups to make full use of the raised beds, garden, and edible landscaping, while working to keep the park a beautiful place to eat lunch, throw a frisbee, talk to a friend, or nibble blueberries.
