A Year Like No Other


This is our first-ever year-end fundraising appeal. We’re reaching out because the pandemic shut down our beloved concerts and related donations and sponsorships, which have been our main source of funds. Now we need support from our community so we can continue to keep this space safe and accessible and ready when concerts can resume.  

Throughout this challenging year West Central Park has found new ways to engage with the community in West Olympia. The pandemic turned the park into an outdoor living room: a place to eat lunch, safely chat with friends, graze on the edible fruits and berries, or sit and read in the sun.

This goal we will allow us to cover basic costs including property taxes, insurance, and utilities. But we can also expand our path lighting to increase access, install our new herb garden, keep the accessible vegetable beds going, and so much more.

We know this is a big ask this year. We appreciate any help you can offer. And you'll see your gift in action every time you pass the intersection at Harrison and Division, or stop by to enjoy your park.
