Our Satellite group created a funding project to to help out restaurants and those in need during the COVID-19 restrictions.  They started a fund to offer hot meals to those in need, by paying a restaurant to provide the meals. The Sisters of Christian Charity convent, which is the home for elderly nuns in Wilmette, was the first to receive such aid. They had relied on food from local grocery stores that was donated to them. Unfortunately, this aid was suspended due to the pandemic.

Our Satellite Club is paying for groceries to be delivered every two weeks and providing a catered meal weekly for the 29 sisters.
