In 1985, YMA founder Sister Ann Miriam retired and Brian M. Biggs, the YMA Drama Director since 1973, took over as Executive Director and Camp Director. As E.D,  Brian significantly expanded its programming by adding Choir and Piano to First Session and Photography, Creative Writing, African Dance, Musical Theatre, and Technical Theatre to Second Session. Mr. Biggs retired from YMA in 2007 after thirty-four years with the program. He still visits YMA every summer to say hello and witness YMA's impact.

Brian and Vicki believe in the power YMA has to positively change the lives of young artists and musicians. Join them in giving to the Brian M. and Vicki L. Biggs Alumni Fund. All donations to this fund will do directly towards financial aid helping to give every young artist the opportunity to become YMAzing.
