In recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month, April, we will be planting Pinwheel Gardens around Newton and Walton Counties. 

The pinwheel represents the safe, healthy childhood every child deserves and the shared responsibility to prevent abuse before it occurs. Its motion reflects hope, growth, and the impact strong policies and coordinated systems can have on children and families.

Each pinwheel represents $5 donated towards our mission. 

• $5 per individual pinwheel- You can sponsor as many pinwheels as you like to be planted in honor of children
• $100 for bundle of 25 pinwheels- When you donate $100, your name/logo is included on a sponsor sign in the pinwheel garden

Pinwheel gardens will be planted in: 

• Loganville at American Legion on Friday, April 3rd at 11:00 AM
• Monroe at Pilot Park on Thursday, April 2nd at 3:30 PM 
• Social Circle at W.H. Stanton Memorial Library on Wednesday, April 1st at 3:30 PM 
• Covington at First United Methodist Church on Tuesday, April 7th at 3:30 PM

These planting events are fun, quick, family friendly events with pinwheel planting followed by a rock painting, popsicles, and a story time immediately following. For those joining us in Monroe and Social Circle, we will have face painting included as well! We would love to have you join us!
