A CALL TO MEN will host a community discussion on healthy manhood and the experiences of Black and Brown men. The event will address the experiences, issues and concerns facing male-identified BIPOC in America. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how their socialization is tied to the outcomes that men of color are experiencing during the pandemic. The discussion will address the ongoing racial unrest and provide strategies to help support Black and Brown men and their families and communities during this unprecedented time. Participants will be able to choose small group discussions on healthy manhood and fatherhood, sports culture, mental health/trauma, Indigenous communities, college life/fraternities, and mentoring youth. Intentional sharing space will also be provided exclusively for Black and Brown participants.
This event is open to people of all gender and racial identities. Limited space available. For small groups, video participation is required.
