The annual Access Walk for Good Food, taking place May 7-17, 2023, supports Access of  West Michigan as well as additional community organizations committed to working towards a Good Food System.  This work includes community gardening, local farming, fresh markets, meal programs, food justice advocacy, and community development initiatives.

This year our fundraising goal is $90,000, fundraised by 750 walkers.  

EVENT DETAILS:

• SUNDAY MAY 7, 2pm to 4pm: This year’s event will include an in-person kick-off event at Mulick Park (1632 Sylvan Ave SE, 49506). The event will include t-shirt pick up, light refreshments, walking route, and children’s activities. Stay tuned as more details will be shared such as maps and volunteer opportunities.
• MAY 7 – MAY 17: WALK IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD: In the past two years we’ve found that many loved engaging in the Walk by gathering in their own community or walking on their own. You and/or your team do not have to attend the in-person event to participate.
