It's time to tee up for CASA! 

CASA of the Sabine Neches Region is excited to host the  Annual CASA Classic Golf Tournament on April 24, 2021, 8:00 am at the beautiful championship Sunset Grove Country Club Golf Course in Orange, TX. 

It's so much more than a round of golf. Participants and sponsors play an instrumental role in providing trained Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers for children and youth who have been victims of abuse, neglect, and abandonment. We look forward to a very successful golf tournament as we continue the challenge of meeting the needs of children in our welfare system in Hardin, Jasper, Orange, Newton, Sabine, and Tyler Counties.

"The course at Sunset Grove was designed by famed Scottish born golf architect Donald Ross (1872-1948).  Ross designed over 400 courses in the US, but only 3 in Texas. Today the course is the only Donald Ross course left in Texas that still uses the original design. The original Donald Ross plans are framed and hang in the Club House. The only changes that have been made are the addition of cart paths and a watering system. "

Entry fee per four-person team is $300 or $100 per individual entry. 

Check-In begins at 7am with breakfast, followed by a 4-person scramble beginning at 8am.

After the tournament, join us for drawings, prizes, lunch and other surprises at the pavilion.

Why CASA of the Sabine Neches Region?

Last year, in our six counties, more than 700 children lived in protective state care because they could not live safely at home. CASA of the Sabine Neches Region is a non-profit organization that trains and supervises community volunteers to gather information and make recommendations to help judges decide the best outcome for each child. Sadly, less than 60% of abused children have CASA voices to speak for them. Our goal is for every abused and neglected child to have a CASA volunteer to advocate for his or her best interests and help each child grow up in a safe and loving home.
