Alaqua Animal Refuge is excited to announce the return of the Animoré Weekend.

On Saturday, September 21, we are excited to introduce the Bluegrass Barn Jam! 

Headlining this year is Blue Highway, a band that has earned a collective 32 IBMA Awards, 6 SPBGMA Awards, one Dove Award, plus three Grammy nominations.  Most recently, the band was nominated for IBMA's 2023, 2022, 2021 and 2020 Vocal Group of the Year and Song of the Year Awards.

This amazing event continues with multiple performances from nationally and regionally recognized Bluegrass acts, including Molly Thomas, Queens Ransom, Hurricane Pary, and Buffalo Nickel, across multiple stages on the sprawling Alaqua property.

The gates open for the outdoor music festival at 1:00 p.m., and the first act begins at 1:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring their blankets or chairs. Outside coolers, food, and beverages are not permitted.

The Bluegrass Barn Jam will offer fun for the entire family and will include a variety of food trucks, beverages, a silent auction, and, of course, animals!
