Cosmic Creations - Paint the Galaxy! Virtual Workshop

Wednesday, April 20, 10 – 11:30 AM | Registration Required 

Ages 6 and up, but family members encouraged to join in on the fun! This special paint workshop is a great parent-child bonding opportunity. 

Registration without material kit: members $10, non-members $15 (registration with no material kit available through 4/20 at 9 am)

Registration with material kit: members $20, non-members $25 (registration with material kit available through 4/15 at 12 pm)

Join us for a virtual morning of painting fun this April vacation break!  

Draw inspiration from current exhibiting artist, Leigh Li-Yun Wen’s cosmic paintings and hear a retelling of the Chinese folklore that inspired her work. Participants will be guided through creating an intergalactic painting of their own and encouraged to depict their own interpretation of the story!  

This class will be led via Zoom. Register online.  

Participants may choose to provide their own paints and painting surface or may purchase a class registration which includes a material kit with canvas, paint, and brushes. Material kits can be picked up at the museum the week before the program.
