Since 2012, ACDN and our member organizations have been hosting events across the country during Women’s History Month — to help women gain the confidence and skills they need for employment. National Smart & Sexy Day is held annually on March 13th. Each member has historically selected their own day to celebrate, helping to amplify the impact of the celebration.

This year, ACDN will host a virtual kickoff celebration on March 10, 2021. National Smart & Sexy Day was created by ACDN and generously supported by Smart&Sexy® , one of the largest privately held lingerie companies in the country and and CurvyCouture, their sister company.

Smart & Sexy Day & Month events are about helping to prepare women to secure employment and enhance the quality of their lives. The day’s activitites will include workforce readiness and professional development classes. Women who attend Smart & Sexy Day events receive Smart&Sexy foundation garments, accurate fittings, as well as interview skills training from leading local industry professionals and dedicated volunteers.
