Since 2012, ACDN and our member organizations have been hosting events across the country during Women’s History Month to help people gain the confidence and skills they need for employment. National Smart & Sexy Day is recognized annually on March 13th. Each ACDN member has historically selected their own day to celebrate as well, helping to amplify the impact of the celebration.

This year, ACDN will host a virtual celebration on March 2, 2022. National Smart & Sexy Day was created by ACDN and is generously supported by Smart&Sexy® , one of the largest privately held lingerie companies in the country, along with their sister company CurvyCouture.

Smart & Sexy Day events are about helping to prepare women to secure employment and enhance the quality of their lives. The day’s activities will include workforce readiness and professional development classes. Women who attend Smart & Sexy Day events receive Smart&Sexy foundation garments, accompanied by proper fittings, as well as professional development training from leading local industry professionals and dedicated volunteers.
