February 13th “Land Preservation: Ann Arbor Greenbelt”

 

11:30 am -- Lunch ($15, optional) Build Your Own Salad Bar, baby field greens and romaine salad with a selection of grilled chicken breast, tuna salad, assorted garden vegetables, cheddar and cottage cheese, croutons and fruit salad.

 

12:30 pm – AAF&G Membership Meeting

 

12:30 pm -- Program will begin immediately following a brief AAF&G meeting “Land Preservation: Ann Arbor Greenbelt” by Remy Long, Greenbelt Manager         

                                   

Ann Arbor's Greenbelt program, created to protect working farmland, natural areas, and land along the Huron River, has a new strategic plan. With us to share the latest in land preservation efforts in our area is Remy Long, Greenbelt Manager. We will learn more about this innovative program that has protected more than 5,000 acres of farmland and open spaces surrounding the city of Ann Arbor since 2003
