With the unwavering dedication of
our staff, volunteers, partners, and community members, we quickly and
successfully shifted our programs to an online platform during quarantine. Aphasia
Couples Retreat, Care Partner Series, Aphasia Summer Game Club, Summer Camp Social,
Fall Horticulture Therapy Workshop, Fall Gratitude Socials, and bi-weekly Fall Aphasia
Game Club have helped aphasia survivors and their families find support and stay
connected with peers during this extended period of isolation.
The Aphasia Network is dedicated to promoting aphasia awareness, training future practitioners, and providing life-changing programs like Aphasia Camp Northwest Adventure Weekend, Aphasia Couples Retreat and the Spring Aphasia Workshop.
Now we need your help to continue delivering our mission to the aphasia community. Celebrate with us, hear impact stories, and see what we have planned! There will also be opportunities to support The Aphasia Network in an online auction.
How do you participate in the event?
You will receive one Zoom meeting link to join the pre-show at 5:30pm and the event at 6:00pm.
What will we do at the event?
During the pre-show, you can get logged into Zoom and enjoy adapted games featured at our Aphasia Game Club programs presented in partnership with Pacific University. We will also share other programming highlights.
Our live hour-long online event will include stories from persons with aphasia, their care partners, students and clinicians. You will also have the opportunity to donate, show your support and participate in an online auction.
