The National Symphony Orchestra is coming to Art Enables! Join us on Sunday, March 12, at 5 p.m. for a special chamber performance in our "Spectral Dance Party" exhibition. Guests will sway alongside watercolor dancers, as the NSO fills the space with delightful dance music. 

Complimentary libations and refreshments will be served.

About Spectral Dance Party

You're invited to a very special - or should we say - spectral - dance party at Art Enables. With party lights to set the mood, watercolor paintings of dancers on sheer fabric hang in the air and “dance” in the breeze of a fan. Hip-hop, tango, and disco dancers, prom couples, and dancing dogs and cats all float several feet above the ground, their visibility shifting as one moves around them. Party guests can view the dancers individually or see multiple layers of dancers at once through the gauzy forms. These dancers may be supernatural, but the only thing that will haunt you...is their moves! 

About NSO In Your Neighborhood 2023

This March, the National Symphony Orchestra will collaborate with different communities in Ward 5 to amplify joy, unity, and shared humanity through music and the arts. Partnering with local schools, museums, and organizations, we will honor the history of these neighborhoods while also building new connections and relationships.
