Flow into the new year with a moment of calm at Art Enables’ Saturday Workshop, Meditative Rock Painting on January 24 from 11 am to 3 pm. In this thoughtful, hands-on workshop, smooth river stones become your canvas as you explore rippling lines, waves of color, gentle symbols, and tranquil imagery inspired by the idea of peace in motion. Drawing from the work in our current exhibition, “Michael Schaff: Peace is Flowing Like a River,” participants are invited to imagine a river of peace—one that carries away worries and ushers in fresh energy for the year ahead.

Using acrylic paint and markers, you can create a calming horizon, swirling currents, or a simple word of hope. Each finished stone becomes a small, meaningful object: part artwork, part meditation.

Drop in anytime between 11 AM and 3 PM on Saturday, January 24. The workshop is free and open to all ages. Art Enables Saturday Workshops are designed to be family-friendly and welcoming to artists of every skill level.
