Art from Ashes (AfA) exists to empower struggling youth by providing creative programs that facilitate health and hope through expression, connection and transformation. AfA is in their 17th year of serving the Denver Metro area with their award-winning curriculum that inspires youth to share their voices and empower their spirit.
Art from Ashes has been nimble through the pandemic as they continue to find new ways to reach youth while keeping everyone safe. They're taking their FUNdraising events online to highlight youth voices and spread the word about the work that they're doing.
Pastries & Poetry is the first virtual event AfA is hosting. Brian Smith, Pastry Chef with FNG and more than 15 years experience in the pastry and restaurant biz, is donating his time to provide an entertaining spin on how to bake a trifle in your own home. There will be youth performances during baking time and you'll get to learn more about what Art from Ashes does.
Tuesday, September 22nd from 5 to 6:30pm hosted on Zoom. A link will be sent to you in your confirmation email after signing up.
There are two ticket options that are listed as a suggested donation to participate.
