PRE-REGISTRATION IS FULL!

We reserve a limited number of seats for walk-up attendees that are offered on a first-come / first-served basis. If you would like to attend, you can head down to the Bosuns Locker as early as 4pm. Hope to see you there!

Come sail with us on our traditional wooden boats and experience Rockland Harbor from the water. Our Free Friday sailing runs from June-September, 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month (depending on weather).

Space is limited - reserving your spot in advance is recommended. Meet at the Apprenticeshop Bosuns Locker down by our pier at 5pm - we’ll get underway around 5:30pm. About the Apprenticeshop:

Founded in 1972, the Apprenticeshop is a 501c3 non-profit boatbuilding school, dedicated to inspiring personal growth through craftsmanship, community, and traditions of the sea. 

We offer 12-week, 9-month and 2-year Apprenticeships where participants of all backgrounds can immerse themselves in hands-on learning through the craft of wooden boat building. Our seasonal programs serve local youth, giving them an opportunity to learn sailing and seamanship skills on the water. We envision a world enriched by creative, collaborative, self-reliant, and thoughtful makers who explore and engage with the intersection of traditional craft and contemporary culture.
