Screening of The Good News and Austin SC2 Holiday Party

Please join us for the public screening of a documentary and discussion about the Austin Forward. Together quality of life plan at the Institute for Nonviolence Chicago. The film features the organizations and people collaborating to  address violence in Austin by scaling and coordinating Community Violence Intervention.

Documentary Description: In Chicago’s Austin neighborhood, community leaders confront the legacies of segregation and disinvestment while celebrating the strength, creativity, and perseverance that define their community. Through stories of food justice, housing, public safety, and authentic storytelling, the film highlights how neighbors are working together to reclaim their future and ensure that investment uplifts rather than displaces.
