Discover the joy of creativity at Autism Action Partnership’s Adult Painting Workshop at Hot Shops with artist Dar Vandevoort! Centered around this year’s theme, Keep on Growing, participants will explore how creativity can reflect personal growth, resilience, and new possibilities.

This workshop is designed to provide a relaxed and encouraging space where participants can experiment with painting techniques, connect with others, and create artwork that is uniquely their own. No matter your experience level, the focus is on enjoying the process, building confidence, and continuing to grow through art.

Participants may register for the session that best matches their experience and support needs:

Beginners
Perfect for individuals who enjoy art and would appreciate additional guidance, instruction, and hands-on support throughout the workshop.

Monday, July 20th and Wednesday, July 22nd
3:00–5:00 PM

Advanced
Best suited for individuals who regularly paint or create artwork and feel comfortable working more independently.

Tuesday, July 21st and Friday, July 24th
3:00–5:00 PM

Workshops will be held at Hot Shops Art Center, 1301 Nicholas Street, Omaha, NE.

Registration is $10 per participant and space is limited.
