Join AAP for an exclusive Zoo Night for the autism community on Saturday, August 23 at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo.

PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING!

This is a night for people on the autism spectrum and their loved ones who may not get to go to the Zoo other times of the year due to a number of different factors such as sensory differences. Please only sign up if you are part of this community as it could be taking away the opportunity for another family who only gets to go during these events.

Due to the overwhelming popularity of our recent zoo events—and a high number of no-shows after registration—we’re introducing registration limits and a small fee to help ensure spots are reserved by those who truly plan to attend. Our goal is to make sure as many families as possible can enjoy this special experience together!

Important details:

• $2 per ticket
• Maximum of 6 tickets per family
• If you purchase more than 6, only 6 will be reserved and you’ll receive a follow-up email. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FOR THOSE WHO PURCHASE MORE THAN 6 TICKETS.
• This is an after-hours event — some animals may not be visible due to their natural sleep cycles
• The penguin exhibit lights will be dimmed to maintain the natural sleep cycle of the animals
• Kingdoms of the Night will be very dimly lit until 8pm when the lights with go on
• Concessions will be available
• The gift shop will be open with wheelchair/stroller rental

Enjoy Desert Dome, Mahoney Kingdoms of the Night, Scott Aquarium, Wild Kingdom Pavilion, Giraffe Herd Room, and Elephant Family Quarters!

You will enter through the MAIN ENTRANCE of the zoo.
