We will be bringing together filmmakers, alumni, industry, and BAVC community members for an exclusive preview of 6 outstanding documentaries in progress.

Unable to join us in person?

While this year we will not be offering a livestream of our MediaMaker Fellowship pitches, you can choose to receive digital access to watch pitches after the event. Select the "Digital Access (Recording)" ticket option when registering here and you will be sent a recording of the pitches directly to your inbox. The recording will be edited by BAVC Productions and ready approximately one week after the event.

Accessibility: If you need ASL interpretation or if there are other accommodations that you need to participate in this event, please contact Brittney (brittney@bavc.org) by Monday, November 24, so that we can make the necessary arrangements. 

Health and Safety: To help provide a safe environment for both patrons and staff throughout the Roxie’s theaters, they have invested in new equipment for thorough sanitation and made adaptations to their overall HVAC systems to increase air ventilation, filtration and purifying.

Food at the afterparty will be labeled for common dietary restrictions. If you have an allergy and would like the caterer to label additional ingredients, please contact Brittney (brittney@bavc.org) by Monday, November 24.

Mask Policy: While masks will not be mandatory we recommend wearing one inside the theater and will have masks available at the event. With recent spikes in COVID-19 in the Bay Area, we advise all attendees to be considerate of others and stay home if they are feeling ill. If a participant or staff member has begun showing symptoms of COVID-19 (either through the screening or as observed by staff), they will be asked to not participate in in-person programming until they either test negative for COVID-19 or if they are symptom free for 10 days.
