When: Saturday November 14, 2026 7pm-9pm 

Where: Kestrels (188 6th Street Brooklyn, NY 11215) 

Tickets are $10. No one turned away for lack of funds. Please email admin@beforeyoureyes.org for a discount code if ticket price is a barrier.

All ticket income (and any additional donations) will directly support the salon, please series!

Location and Accessibility Information:

Kestrels is located at 188 6th Street, Gowanus Brooklyn (please note this is 6th St, not 6th Ave) between 3rd and 2nd Avenues. Entrance to the event will be next door at 200 6th Street.

Kestrels is about a 7-10 minute walk from the F, G, R 4th Ave-9th Street subway station and a 15 minute walk from the F, G Carroll Street station. To check on your train status you can look at the MTA website for further information HERE.

If you are driving please leave extra time to find a spot. It's hit or miss over here. 

The theater is only accessible by way of one flight of stairs. If you need an elevator for access there is a freight elevator available. Please note you must ascend 5 steps to get to the elevator; we apologize for this lack of direct accessibility. Please email admin@beforeyoureyes.org no later than 6:00pm to request use of the elevator. If you have other access needs, please let us know at the email address above and we will do our best to accommodate them.
