BCC's Backyard Climbing Festival

Note, you can only sign up for one clinic per order. Please submit separate orders for each individual who wants to register for a clinic. All clinic registrations include a weekend pass (WP).

What You Get

Your weekend pass includes access to all events on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Note: clinic registration is an additional cost.

Friday
- Kick-off party and art gallery night at the BCC house! 
- Free beverages, beer, and food!

Saturday

 - Shoe demos with Scarpa and La Sportiva
- Clinics presented by Denver Mountain Guiding, Golden Mountian Guides and Alpine to the Max

- Boulder Canyon Climbing Comp (see event website)

- Evening Festivities at the Boulder Rock Club including:

 -Yoga session with Prana 

 - Ridiculously Fun Games, Dance party, Prizes & Shennigans
- Silent Auction & Raffles
- Two Free Beverages (beer & NA options) presented by Upslope Brewery and free pizza

- Stewardship trail day-Flagstaff Mountain clean up from 8-11 AM  (Folks will meet at Crown Rock Overlook at 8 AM.)

Sunday
- Stewardship trail day -East Colfax Climbing area in Clear Creek Canyon in partnership with Golden Mountian Guides. 8-2 PM (folks will meet at the parking for East Colfax past tunnel 6)

• WP + Fast and light anchors for alpine climbing 

Clinics are presented by Denver Mountain Guiding, Alpine to the Max and Golden Mountain Guides, and will be held in Clear Creek Canyon, Boulder Canyon and in the Flatirons from 8am-4pm.  Details will be sent out to you once you are signed up!

Stewardship

Join the BCC Trail Crew to help make our crags better. Half-day volunteer opportunities will run Saturday and Sunday. Sign up at the bottom of this page (scroll down!) Lunch will be provided.

Refund Policy

The Backyard Climbing Festival is a fundraising event and weekend passes are non-refundable. You may transfer a clinic spot to another individual. To transfer, please email development@boulderclimbers.org. This event will be held rain or shine, and all clinics have a backup  plan for inclement weather. Saturday evening's party at the BRC will be held regardless!
