The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Holland will be hosting the 28th Annual Steak & Burger combined with the 29th Annual Youth of the Year. Starting in 2025, this event will be rebranded to the Great Futures Gathering: Where Kids Write Their Own Story. 

Join us for this reimagined fundraising event on March 21, 2024, at Holland’s Civic Center Place. This gathering is a dressy-casual event that combines two previous events: Steak & Burger, an event focused on building relationships with corporate partners, where attendees and Club members enjoy a meal together, and Youth of the Year. The Youth of the Year Award is our highest local honor, rewarding leadership, service, and academic standing. Each year, Clubs recognize teen members ages 14-18, nominating members to compete for BGCGH’s Youth of the Year. 

At this year’s combined event, we will hear from Club members about the Club’s impact, and what a day in the life at the Club looks like. Additionally, we will hear from our 2024 Youth of the Year candidates, and one will receive the Youth of the Year Award! The recipient will have the opportunity to represent our Club at the state, regional and national levels. Live streaming will be available for those who cannot attend.

Last year, the individual events were attended by 400 community members, raised over $65,000.00 and were exclusively underwritten by local donors like yourself. This year, our goal is to host an event with 425 attendees and raise $90,000.00!
