Celebrating 5 Years of Impact

The Ron Horning Memorial Golf Classic marks its 5th year as a meaningful tradition benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hancock County and the Ron Horning Scholarship. This event honors the legacy of Ron Horning, who served as the Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs in Hancock County for over 20 years, positively impacting the lives of countless youth in our community.

An avid golfer and beloved member of Arrowhead Golf Course, Ron’s passion for the game and commitment to youth development inspired this event, held annually at Arrowhead since the year of his passing.

Proceeds from the tournament directly support:

• The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hancock County’s General Operating Fund to ensure access to life-changing programs for underserved youth.

• Specific programming that creates opportunities and fosters growth for youth in need.

• The Ron Horning Scholarship, awarded annually to a graduating Hancock County student who previously attended the Club and is pursuing a post-secondary education.
