The Ugly Duck Derby is a one-of-a-kind community fundraiser where thousands of rubber ducks race for a chance to win big prizes, including a $4,000 grand prize. Each ticket purchased is assigned a duck, and when the race begins, it’s all up to chance as the ducks make their way to the finish line.

More than just a fun event, the Ugly Duck Derby directly supports the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County and the youth we serve every day. Proceeds help provide a safe place after school, caring mentors, and programs that support academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character development.

How it works: Each ticket you purchase is assigned a number that matches a duck in the race. When the ducks are released, the first ones to cross the finish line win prizes based on their ticket numbers.
