2026 Yahoo Golf Tournament Ball Drop & Sponsorship

The YAHOO BALL DROP will take place at the course just prior to the start of our golf tournament. The Craig Fire and Rescue team will host the annual ball drop. All proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Club and the Kiwanis Club of Craig.
This visionary outreach opportunity began when two men, Tom Knez and Dan Severson, endeavored to honor their loved ones in a way that benefited the people living in their community. Since 2004, the Yahoo Golf Tournament has hosted a ball drop in addition to the golf tournament, raising important funds to continue positive programming for the youth of Craig.

The Tournament
The tournament format is 4-person teams playing a "YaHoozer Scramble!" Come out and see what a "Ralfie and a Tommy" are all about. We dare ya......No we double dog dare ya! The entry fee is $300 per team, and your entry includes all golf fees, cart, range balls, prizes and a meal following the tournament. Contact the Yampa Valley Golf Course to register. 970-824-3673.
