Join us starting at 6:00pm on Friday, February 26th for an exciting night of celebrating the hard-working teens competing for Youth of the Year!
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County's Youth of the Year program is a distinguished initiative celebrating outstanding teenagers who embody leadership qualities. This program, a tradition for more than 75 years, empowers young people to develop critical skills, such as public speaking, self-confidence, and leadership, creating opportunities to make a meaningful difference in their communities.
One exceptional teen from each area of our organization is chosen as a finalist for the Youth of the Year award for their leadership potential, academic achievements, and commitment to service in their Club, community, and home. During our 2027 Youth of the Year Gala, the finalists will have a chance to tell their story.
The night will culminate in the reveal of the 2027 Youth of the Year!

The 2026 Youth of the Year Gala broke fundraising and attendance records with more than 450 guests in attendance. As the 2027 LIGHT UP THE ROOM Underwriter, your donation provides a truly magical opportunity for guests to donate to support the mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County. In 2026, more than $200,000 was raised in roughly 15 minutes during Light Up the Room. Donors who participated received an LED lighted item with the underwriter's logo on it.
