The Breast Cancer Network of WNY is once again presenting Murder at the Mansion! Cocktail Party Fundraiser with all proceeds to be donated to metastatic breast cancer research. 

Join us at The Mansion on Delaware Avenue for an amazing evening of food, drink, friendship, and entertainment. Never been to a murder mystery event? You'll love it. Our professional cast will guide us all through the comedic mystery and involve plenty of our guests as suspects and extras. 

The venue is a classic Buffalo Delaware Avenue style mansion renovated into a charming (and somewhat haunting) boutique hotel. You'll be treated royally and spoiled with an assortment of delicious hors d'oeuvres and desserts not to mention a full evening of premium open bar. 

We are collecting many incredible baskets and gift cards to be raffled at the evening's end as well as several tempting silent auction items available for your bidding pleasure.

The most important part of Murder at the Mansion is where the proceeds will go. Metastatic breast cancer caused over 43,000 deaths in the United States in 2023. Not breast cancer, but metastatic breast cancer. What’s the difference? Metastatic breast cancer occurs when breast cancer cells spread, or metastasize, to different organs in the body. Once that occurs, the cancer is still treatable but it is not curable. Breast cancer deaths do not occur until the cells have metastasized. In spite of that knowledge, a relatively small percentage of breast cancer research funding is focused on metastatic disease. That’s where we come in.

In 2016, the Breast Cancer Network of WNY adopted a resolution to make an annual contribution to metastatic breast cancer research. Since that time, we have donated a total of $75,000 to that cause. We have worked hard to identify where that money will be used for that specific purpose and we want to make an even bigger difference this year.

All of the proceeds from our Murder at the Mansion event will be donated to metastatic breast cancer research and our goal for 2024 is to reach $100,000 in donations since 2016.
