The 2025 edition of Cinema4aCause is set to commence in Chicago with the much-anticipated premiere of award-winning film “Fidan” on March 8th, on International Women’s Day.  

All movie proceeds and donations will go to the BTF Empowerment Education Scholarship Programs for children and youth in rural areas of Turkiye. 

Pre-registration is required to attend the event, as seating is limited. All donations are welcome even if you can’t attend but would like to support the cause. Spread the word!

ABOUT FİDAN 

13-year old Fidan learns that she has earned the right to attend the country’s most prestigious high school. However, it is not easy for her to leave her younger brother and father who are lost in the shadow of sad events. Fidan finds herself at a crossroads, driven by the spirit of sacrifice so characteristic of the noble women of Anatolia. The decision she makes will shape her future.  Fidan movie has been honored with 2 awards at the Golden Orange Film Festival - Best Supporting Actress and Best Film Editing . This recognition is a testament to the film’s poignant storytelling and its vivid portrayal of young women and education in Türkiye.
