Building Skills NY (BSNY) is a nonprofit that helps underemployed New Yorkers build meaningful careers. We partner with developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and community-based organizations to offer no-cost skills training and place qualified candidates into good-paying jobs in construction and the skilled trades.
Our annual Best of Building Skills NY cocktail reception honors the hard-earned career progressions of the New Yorkers we serve, along with the various local organizations that work together to make these journeys happen.
We are thrilled to welcome Queens Borough President Donovan Richards as this year's keynote speaker. This year's event will also include raffle prizes; food provided by Charles Pan-Fried Chicken; alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks; and the chance to connect with local leaders in workforce development, real estate, and construction. If you share our commitment to building skills and futures across NYC, we hope to see you there!
