the BODY:
The Watermill Center Annual Summer Benefit
A celebration of art that will center on the body's role in art making.
The 2023 Summer Benefit will introduce UBU directed by Robert Wilson — originally presented at the Es Baluard Museum in Palma de Mallorca, Spain — and 19 artist installations and exhibitions including Regina José Galindo's "The Body," Alessandro di Pietro's "Ghostwriting Paul Thek: Time Capsules and Reliquaries," with a performance by Ola Maciejewska.
This year we will be honoring American artist Simone Forti and the late philanthropist, Baroness Nina von Maltzahn.
The evening welcomes 500+ distinguished guests from the worlds of art, performance, theater, fashion, film, and more and is an international celebration of art in support of the organization's year-round programming.
