ABOUT CAMP FIRE ALABAMA:
We never known what the future will bring but we can find ways to teach our children how to treat themselves and others with respect, dignity and understanding. This is what Camp Fire Alabama is all about.
Founded in 1959, Camp Fire Alabama serves over 14,000 children and adolescents in our community each year. We create and implement in-school programs in local classrooms that give students the social and emotional skills they need now and in their future to grow and become responsible, caring adults and contributing members of society. At Camp Fletcher our outdoor programs not only instill in youth a reverence for the environment, we also emphasize acceptance of differences and concern for others well-being. Fletcher Academy allows students a safe and structured place to continue their formal education not only during COVID 19, but in future years, while developing studying and interpersonal communication skills.
