We're excited to invite you to join us as Catskill Mountainkeeper presents Wild & Scenic Film Festival, June 14 - 16, 2019 in Callicoon, New York! Come celebrate our natural world with three days of screenings, with blocks devoted to Farms & Food, Water, and Climate in addition to workshops, filmmaker talks, and round tables.  


SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

FRIDAY, JUNE 14

Benefit Cocktail Party and Dinner & Screening of 'Dreaming of a Vetter World.'

Cocktail dinner starts at 6:30 at Adella Dori with proceeds to benefit Catskill Mountainkeeper. A screening of Dreaming of a Vetter World will follow at Callicoon Theater.

11:00 Yoga Riverside with Autumn from River Family Wellness. Location: Nine River Road Inn. 9 River Road, Callicoon New York. Please bring your own mat!

12:30 - 2:00 Guided Nature Walk with Laura Silverman of The Outside Institute Meet in front of the Callicoon Theater. 30 Upper Main Street.

2:00 - Author's Corner at Callicoon Library, with reading by local author Evan Eisenberg from his book, The Ecology of Eden. Delaware Free Branch Library. 45 Lower Main Street.

2:00 - National Park Service presents Aquatic Insects as Indicators of Water Quality. Callicoon Creekside Park. A. Doerrer Rd. Meet at the bench facing the creek. 

2:00 - 3:30 Guided Nature Walk with Laura Silverman of The Outside Institute. Meet in front on Callicoon Theater. 30 Upper Main Street.

3:45 - Screening: Water

5:45 - Round Table // Wild & Scenic Upper Delaware

Join us in the Ballroom at The Western Hotel for a discussion of The Wild & Scenic Rivers Act and how it relates to the protection of the Upper Delaware. 

7:00 - Screening: Food, Farm & Pollinators

8:20 - Q & A with local filmmaker Jon Bowermaster about his film Seeds of Hope

At Callicoon Theater, immediately following screening.

9:00 - Afterparty at The Western Hotel with Slippery Stairs and DJ Nick Forte.

A portion of the proceeds from the bar will benefit Catskill Mountainkeeper!

10AM - 2PM Come say hi to us at the Callicoon Farmer's Market and learn more about our current campaigns!
