LOBBY HERO SYNOPSIS

Nominated for the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Off-Broadway Play, Kenneth Lonergan's Lobby Hero tells the story of Jeff, a luckless young security guard trying to get his life together after being thrown out of the navy. But the lobby proves to be no sanctuary from the world, as Jeff is drawn into a local murder investigation involving his supervisor. 

We at The Center at West Park are absolutely thrilled to reunite the dream team from last year's inaugural Fall Benefit - playwright Kenneth Lonergan and director Mark Brokaw - for this special evening. And we are deeply grateful to our esteemed cast - Casey Affleck, Jamie Hector, Aubrey Plaza and Josh Radnor - for lending their time and talent to this performance.

THE CENTER AT WEST PARK is an inclusive intergenerational community arts center committed to collaboration, diversity, affordability, and accessibility. CWP is dedicated to preserving our Landmark home, preventing its demolition, and growing CWP programs to serve Upper Manhattan and the five boroughs as a hub for community, arts & culture, social responsibility, sacred space, community workshops, and accessible rentals for the community and artists of all ages and experience levels. CWP’s arts spaces enable programming that advances artists at all career stages while ensuring that the community and aspiring artists interact with renowned artists.
