Attention Strong community members! We need you!

Do you live, work, or spend a lot of time in Strong? CEBE is conducting a Vulnerability Assessment for the Town of Strong. Although it is called a "vulnerability" assessment, it's more of an assessment of the town's strengths and needs to develop recommendations for community resilience.

You can help Strong become more resilient to extreme weather and other climate impacts and win a $100 Hannaford gift card!

Join us for a community forum on Tue, Sept. 22nd at the Strong Town Office (14 South Main Street) and on Zoom. All are welcome, and free snacks will be provided! Feel free to join both forums or just one. Each forum attended will enter you into a raffle for a $100 Hannaford gift card.

This assessment will include gathering historical weather and environmental data, populations/census data, and infrastructure data. It will also include a community-wide survey, stakeholder interviews, and community forums. At the end of the assessment, we will write up a detailed report with our findings and recommendations for community resilience projects. Through this assessment process, we will also be funded to help Strong write another Community Action Grant to implement recommendations at no cost to the town! Each assessment is different depending on the interests and needs of the community.
