Presented in a VIRTUAL format
Due to current health precautions about COVID-19, the Chrysalis board and staff have elected to offer these presentations virtually.
As you know, Conversations events raise funds that allow us to continue to support the many services and agencies helping girls and women. We hope to continue to do so in our new format by asking you to consider making a gift of $10, $20, or $40.
If you would like to request a scholarship for these presentations, please email: lknudsen@chrysalisfdn.org.
p.s. Join us May 20, 2020, for the second part of the series: Chrysalis Conversations: Hashtag Activism, People Power, and Generational Change featuring Dr. Rachel Caufield and Dr. Kesho Scott as they help us discover the key ingredients that power women's movements.
_________________________________________________ History is made via a series of movements. In the study of history, some stories are lost, forgotten, or left unwritten. Chrysalis Conversations in 2020 will unpack some of those untold stories. In April, as the nation honors the 100th Anniversary of Suffrage, we will dig deeper into how this movement did not mean voting for all women, leaving women of color behind. In May, we will look closer at today's movements: how the internet and social media have changed how we mobilize and work together to improve our communities and our world.
