The (Un)Known Project Public Art Presentation will give participants an overview of the work including historical facts about enslavement in Kentucky, and an opportunity to stand in the footprints on the platform while looking across the Ohio River, the dividing line between enslavement and freedom.

The first of IDEAS xLab's monthly Public Art Presentations. The inaugural presentation will be given by Hannah Drake, IDEAS xLab Chief Creative Officer and (Un)Known Project co-lead artist.

The "On the Banks of Freedom" public art installation is located between 9th and 10th St. along the Louisville riverwalk. Parking is available in the lot at the north end of 10th St, and behind the Kentucky Science Center. The site is accessible for individuals with mobility impairement from both parking lots.
