Join the D.C. Policy Center and The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) in-person on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Charles Sumner School Museum and Archives in the Grand Hall (3rd floor) for a discussion on Attendance in D.C.: Pandemic shifts and current context.

The event will begin at 9:00 AM with coffee and networking, with the program starting at 9:30 AM. Dr. Antoinette Mitchell, Superintendent at the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), will provide opening remarks. Following a report overview, an expert panel will discuss the findings. Panelists include Cat Peretti, Executive Director of CitySchools Collaborative; William Massey, Principal at H.D. Woodson High School; Kia Coleman, Principal at DC Prep Benning Middle School; and Rachel Sadlon, Interim Assistant Superintendent of Health and Wellness at OSSE. Yesim Sayin, Executive Director of the D.C. Policy Center will close out the event.
