HIDDEN IN PLAIN SITE: A Series About Edible and Medicinal Mushrooms & Plants

• Gain the skills and confidence to forage for your own wild foods and medicines
• Hands-on Group Forage / Sustainable Harvest Practices
• Learn how to identify wild plants and mushrooms
• Taste prepared foraged foods and drinks
• Learn with mixed media visuals, live specimens and a variety of / hands-on interactive activities
• Create take-away art projects (a blend of wildcrafting and science)
• Take-away informational material from each workshop

The third in an interactive series about the amazing world of plants and mushrooms will include a "fast forage" and samplings of foods from the wild. Participants will gain hands on skills that will foster their own future foraging skills. We will meet at The YES! House, take a short walk to where we will forage, then will bring our finds back to The YES! House to learn about as we enjoy some of the prepared food and beverage samplings from the wild.
