In 2010 Jay Jack started his dog training journey. He started to educate himself on dog training and behavior modification. It didn’t take long for him to realize that he was not only good at dog training but it effortlessly flowed into other strengths in his life. Jay has been involved in martial arts and strength athletics his whole life and has a HUGE love for pit bulls!

In 2015 his discipline learned through martial arts and his love of all things dog came together in one amazing seminar. Jay began to use his unique experiences to help motivate and push his clients to achieve better results. This worked so well in fact that Jay developed GRC Dogsports . GRC Dogsports makes it their mission to get people motivated to work with their dogs. It combines old school games from the pit bull world with motivational obedience training to create a dog/handler team that can celebrate their relationship!

Jay has made a tremendous contribution to Dogs Playing for Life through sharing his unique training abilities with our dogs and staff helping us define the training program we use at our National Canine Center.

During the two-day seminar Jay will introduce you to the world of GRC Dogsports Drive Sports. There will be work on the basics of Toy Play and Harness Acclimation. Jay will also introduce the Spring Pole, Wall Climb, Weight Pull, and Mill Races. You’ll learn how to use indirect rewards and learn the difference between Supportive Games and the Competitive Games most people use in training. These ideas will take your work to the next level even if you don’t want to pursue any actual sport titles.
