The ORCA (Opioid Recovery & Care Access) Center embedded within DESC's Downtown Behavioral Health Clinic are two co-located programs that represent an expansion of DESC’s comprehensive continuum of care. We are excited to invite you to the grand opening ceremony for these integrated services, which marks a significant milestone in DESC’s mission to help individuals transition from crisis to stability through evidence-based, person-centered care.

Event Schedule:

• 10:30 AM: Doors Open
• 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Grand Opening Ceremony (featuring remarks from DESC leadership, elected officials, and community partners)
• 12:00–1:00 PM: Coffee Break & Self-Guided Tours
• 1:00–3:00 PM: Open House with additional self-guided and guided tours, interactive storytelling exhibits, and staff engagement

Creative Showcases Include:

• Digital Storytelling Series: Client journeys from opioid use to stability
• Coffee Station Chronicles: Tribute to DESC’s original shelter and early care models
• Interactive Timeline: Milestones across DESC’s behavioral health and housing continuum
