GIVE EVERYTHING

Kick off Pride month with ECMC and Artistic Director Vince Peterson as we welcome the Queer Urban Orchestra and its conductor, David Bloom, to present an epic Anniversary program called GIVE EVERYTHING examining humanity's need for generosity without expectation. A concert study of what it means to give everything - even your very life in the service of others, the program talks about lessons learned by men and queer folk through recent decades and how we can contribute to a better world in the next chapter. Featured on the program are Conrad Susa's rarely heard orchestration and choral voicing of Brahms' Four Serious Songs (Vier ernste Gesänge), and the world premiere of Jeffrey Parola's enigmatic and colorful settings of Walt Whitman for men's chorus and orchestra commissioned by ECMC in honor of our anniversary.

As a culmination to the season, we are asking you, our patrons and supporters, to consider adding a donation of $30 to your ticket purchase total in honor of our 30th anniversary. Thirty for 30 has a great ring to it, don't you think? Your contributions are essential in enabling ECMC to continue to bring impactful music to our audiences.
