PS 7 cooking teacher Jo Quiocho knows that her students love to cook and eat with her, so she has been creating simple recipes to supplement her lessons on the environment and sustainability. Past recipes include winter fruit salad to emphasize the importance of trees and bean and cheese burritos to accompany a lesson on how cattle contribute to climate change. Come with your own ideas, recipes and questions.
As always, tickets are available for free and all are welcome. If you are able to make a donation, this helps us sustain our programming and is much appreciated. We suggest donations of $5 for people coming from Title I schools and organizations with budgets below $1,000,000 (tier 1 tickets) and $10 for people coming from non-Title I schools and larger organizations (tier 2 tickets).
