Please join us the weekend of September 16-18, 2022, for VCOM Virginia Homecoming. We are highlighting the classes of 2007, 2012 and 2017 for their 5th, 10th and 15th reunions, as well as those that missed their reunions due to COVID, but ALL VCOM graduates are invited, and encouraged, to attend. Make plans to return home to Blacksburg and have fun with former classmates, faculty and staff! The weekend will include CME opportunities as well as social events and fun for the entire family. Hope to see you in the fall!
Join us for a relaxing hike on Sunday morning to end the celebratory 2022 Homecoming Weekend. We will be hiking to the Cascades Falls under the guidance and leadership of the student organization Wilderness Medicine Committee. All are welcome to join us - alumni, families, faculty, staff, students and friends.
The Cascades Falls hike is approximately a 4 mile round-trip, easy to moderate hike with a stunning 66' water fall along the trail. We will be meeting at the trail head (approximately 30 minutes from VCOM campus) and there will be a $3 charge per car for parking.
Kick off the 2022 Homecoming Weekend with a networking luncheon to include a "State of the Campus" address by Dr. Jan Willcox, Student Affairs update by Associate Dean Whitney Stokes and "Financial Literacy At All Stages of a Physician's Career" presentation by Lesia Brolinson.
We will also have a chance for alumni to network with student leaders during this event.
CME Lectures will be provided by alumni. There will be 4 hours of CME offered on Friday, September 16th.
