Emerson Hall Foundation, Stamford Downtown Special Services District, and Historic Neighborhood Preservation have partnered for this year's Jane's Walk. Join architectural historian Wes Haynes and DSSD President Michael Moore for a 1.5-2 hour walk exploring the ideas of urban theorist and activist Jane Jacobs (1916-2006). Her concept is evident in the character and quality of intentional and accidental space, where people gather today and gathered in the past in downtown’s urban core. The tour starts at the lawn of Emerson Hall (Unitarian Universalist Congregation) and proceeds south on Bedford Street.
