1st time in 77 years (!), folks, that In The Valley will be opened to the public for view. This was Corra Harris's wish but the money to keep it open ran out in 1949. EVHS Volunteers have subsequently volunteered 1500+ hours over the last 3 years, clearing & repairing & replacing & painting & adding & planting at this 54-acre estate. To make it amenable to public view. We think (we hope!) we are ready for prime time!

This initial Event is FIRST being offered to the locals, to the Pine Log Community, as promised. Many of these local folks have driven by this estate on Mt Pleasant Rd for years, know all about it but have never had a chance to visit it. Now's their chance.
