Join us for a presentation on the life and legacy of Bartow County resident M.W.H. “Alphabet” Collins, known for his impactful work in plant genetics and his role in establishing the Georgia Institute of Genetics.

 

The lecture, the first in the Bartow County Library's speaker series celebrating America250, will be presented by Etowah Valley Historical Society member Mary Norton, and co-hosted by the Bartow County Library and the Etowah Valley Historical Society.

 

The reception will begin at 6:00 p.m.
