Why participate? According to ncadv.org, on average, 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States. You will be participating to be a voice to your community impacting Connecticut and beyond. Your participation is important - and it’s FREE!

Who: Everyone. Domestic violence impacts men, women, children and people of all ages. It impacts communities and families and people just like you.

Each year, Family Centered Services of CT hosts our annual Walk to End Domestic Violence and we're celebrating our 13th annual event! Join us on October 21st as we Walk For Change in support of a world without domestic violence. During this year's event, we are excited to present three incredible community members with our first ever Changemaker Award for their work to end domestic violence in CT and beyond! After the walk, you won't want to miss exciting raffle prizes, Ashley's Ice Cream, Subway sandwiches, face painting, and so much more. Bring the family for a fun - and free! - day out for a great cause.  

Plus - your chance to win our Grand Prize in our Big Ticket Raffle - 2 Round Trip tickets on Avelo Airlines with a $200 Airbnb gift card and a 1-year AAA membership! Second prize winner will receive a Solo Stove Backyard Bonfire and third prize winner will win a pair of Apple AirPods. Tickets will be sold leading up to the Walk, with the drawing being held the day of the Walk. Winner does not need to be present to win.
